System Administrator

Responsibilities * Manage and support enterprise-level systems including Windows Server, Linux, and cloud platforms * Oversee system design, configuration management, and implementation of software solutions to meet organizational needs. * Maintain server backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and availability at all times. * Perform system tuning and performance optimization to maximize efficiency across servers, storage arrays with RAID controllers, and network devices like firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, load balancers, and computer networking components. * Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Python, and Shell Scripting to streamline operations. * Support system troubleshooting efforts related to software applications (including Pegasystems), hardware issues, or network disruptions with technical troubleshooting support. * Administer Active Directory management for user accounts, permissions, and security policies while ensuring adherence to information security standards. * Implement solution architecture strategies aligned with Service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles and microservices frameworks. * Collaborate on system architecture projects involving Kubernetes clusters, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL/MySQL databases, NoSQL solutions like Cassandra or MongoDB, and DevOps practices with tools such as Jenkins and Git. * Monitor system health using performance tuning techniques; conduct load balancing for high availability; support system & application support initiatives for seamless user experience. Skills * Extensive experience in system administration across Windows Server (including Windows Server administration) and Linux operating systems. * Strong knowledge of server administration including RAID controller management, server backup/recovery procedures, virtualization (VMware) * Deep understanding of computer networking concepts including VPNs, firewalls, DNS/DHCP services, load balancing techniques, and network security best practices. * Familiarity with database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL; experience with PL/SQL is a plus. * Knowledge of information security protocols to safeguard organizational data assets; experience with firewall configuration and cybersecurity measures. * Skills in systems & applications support; troubleshooting hardware/software issues efficiently while maintaining high service levels. 高度プロフェッショナル制度 勤務時間・曜日: Monday through Friday 8am to 6 pm. Remote support and Onsite Support of local clients in Tokyo and Japan. You can work from home unless you are required to go onsite to support our clients.
