Part-time English Teacher (Starting in October 2026)

仕事内容: Job Description: * One-on-One In-Person Lessons: Conduct 40-minute face-to-face English conversation lessons. （Looking ahead, there may be opportunities to design and lead small group lessons.） * Student Demographic: Students aged 10 to 18. Primarily students aged 10 to 18, with occasional adult students. * Lesson Content: * 　Free conversation. * 　Speaking practice for English proficiency exams (mostly Eiken). * 　Conversation practice using specific textbooks and focusing on target grammar points for each lesson. * Administrative Duties: 20 minutes per lesson for preparation and completing lesson reports. * Progress Reporting: Regularly report on the progress of your students. Staff Meetings: Participate in staff meetings as required.

求める人材: Requirements: * Valid Visa Status * Language Proficiency: Possess equivalent native-level speaking ability. * IT Skills: Basic IT skills, including proficiency with Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack. * Professionalism: Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, basic business manners, and strong time management and task completion skills. * Must bring and use your own laptop for work. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience teaching English to Japanese learners. * Experience teaching Eiken speaking/writing section (Grade 3, pre2, 2, and pre1). * Experience conducting online lesson using Zoom or Google Meet. * Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N4 or more. * Proactive Lesson & Curriculum Planning: Ability to independently design lesson plans and develop new learning programs (As a growing, close-knit school, we highly value professional instructors who can actively shape class materials and take initiative in creating engaging educational experiences).

完全歩合制 給与: Compensation & Benefits: * Standard Lesson Rate: 2,420 yen (tax included) per session (consisting of a 40-minute lesson plus 20 minutes for prep and admin work). * Meeting Rate: 1,320 yen (tax included) per hour. * Commutation Allowance: Reimbursement of actual expenses up to 500 yen per day. * Probationary Period: * During the first month, the rate is 2,200 yen (tax included) per lesson. * Training will be provided through several hours of meetings before you begin teaching actual classes.

勤務時間・曜日: Availability: Flexible within the following hours: * Tuesday: 16:00 – 21:00 * Saturday: 14:00 – 21:00 Flexibility: Short shifts (1–2 days a week, 3-4 hours per day) are welcome.
