仕事内容 We are looking for Senior Chef working at our cafeteria in a University located in Okinawa. We serve lunch for students and faculty, and do catering service as well. Those knowledgeable in Western, Halal, and Vegan cuisines are highly welcome We are looking for someone to utilize their experience in international cooking and menu development. 【Essential Functions】 ・Cooking Western cuisine with scratch ・Knowledge of Halal and Vegetarian dietary requirements ・Creating appealing and diverse menus regularly ・Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes. ・Inventory management and ordering ingredients ・Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness. ・Catering preparation and service ・Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and purchasing orders. ・Maintain a safe work environment for all staff and guests. ・Strong time management and leadership skills [Requirement] ・Minimum 2 years in a similar position or 5 years as a senior cook. ・Experience in international cuisine ・Knowledge of Halal and Vegetarian dietary requirements ・Knowledge of computers (Microsoft Office) ・Must be able to communicate in Japanese. ・Must have a valid visa to work in Japan. ・Willingness to learn and be motivated. ・Must be punctual and be a team player.
