仕事内容 | 仕事内容: Position Summary: Eagle International School is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable School Manager to oversee daily operations and educational programming for our international preschool and afterschool programs. The School Manager is a hands-on leadership position that combines school administration, teacher coordination, curriculum oversight, and parent communication. This role also includes direct teaching responsibilities, including regular kindergarten morning classes and management of our SGNK ESL dispatch program. Key Responsibilities: Administration & Operations * Oversee the daily operations of the school, ensuring smooth coordination of all staff, schedules, and logistics * Manage school opening/closing procedures and ensure full coverage during operating hours * Handle emergency situations such as last-minute staff absences, scheduling conflicts, and facility issues * Coordinate with bus drivers, support staff, and vendors to maintain smooth daily logistics * Manage documents, reports, and forms related to enrollment, attendance, contracts, and more. Parent Communication & Relations * Serve as the main contact point for all parent inquiries, scheduling, concerns, and feedback * Share event and field trip announcements, policies, and updates via email, LINE, WhatsApp, and paper notices * Organize and follow up on parent-teacher meetings, satisfaction surveys, and feedback collection * Support enrollment through trial class scheduling and follow-up communication Teaching & Lesson Coverage * Regularly teach kindergarten morning classes, focusing on ESL and developmental support * Provide emergency or planned lesson coverage for absent teachers across various age groups and subjects * Plan and lead special activities, events, and seasonal curriculum for events like Halloween, field trips, Moon Festival, etc. SGNK ESL Dispatch Program * Oversee the SGNK ESL dispatch curriculum and coordinate with dispatch staff and host schools * Maintain direct communication with SGNK coordinators and school leadership * Teach ESL classes for the SGNK program and ensure curriculum quality and continuity * Collect feedback and manage surveys for the program’s performance and satisfaction Staff Management & HR Support * Onboard and train new teachers and support staff * Manage and communicate schedules, shift changes, and staff assignments * Clarify responsibilities, expectations, and policies to reduce staff miscommunication * Support employment documentation and contracts in coordination with the school’s accountant Curriculum & Student Development * Support the development and implementation of ESL and thematic curricula * Coordinate with teachers on activity planning, student progress, and development goals * Support students with special needs, particularly in areas like motor skill development * Help evaluate and adjust teaching materials and strategies across age groups Planning & School Growth * Support leadership in strategic planning, including enrollment growth and program improvement * Contribute to financial planning discussions, capital revisions, and budget management with school leadership * Lead or support partnerships with companies, marketing efforts, and public-facing initiatives Technology, Design & Communication Tools * Use digital tools (Google Forms, Calendly, Canva, etc.) for organizing events, scheduling, and communication * Create and manage digital content such as class introduction videos, newsletters, and surveys * Maintain internal documentation and communication logs with staff and parents Qualifications: * Native or near-native English fluency; conversational Japanese preferred * Strong background in early childhood or ESL education * Experience managing teams or programs in an international or school setting * Proficiency in Google Workspace, digital scheduling tools, and basic design/editing platforms * Excellent time management, communication, and leadership skills * Ability to multitask in a high-responsibility, people-centered role Working Hours: * Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM * Occasional early, late, or weekend hours may be required for events or emergencies |

求めている人材 | 求める人材: Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree (required). * School Management Experience (at least 1-2 years) * Billingual- Can speak (native) English and (conversational) Japanese * English Teaching certification or license (preferred). * Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. * Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching young learners. * Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. * English Speaker; Japanese language skills are a plus. * Familiarity with international teaching practices is an advantage. |
